Thomasina Coates is a native of Charles County, and holds an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, a Bachelors of Arts degree in Information Technology, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management. Thomasina has over 30 years in the Information Technology. She served as a Project Manager for the Federal government before starting her own business as the President/CEO of TTI Enterprise, LLC, located in White Plains, MD and currently works in the private sector as an IT Program Manager.
She is a member of and serves on several local and regional boards and committees. Thomasina serves on the Charles County Board of License Commission, and the Southern Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce as the Regional Vice President for Charles County, where she enjoys educating and advocating for small disadvantaged businesses in the tri-county region.
Thomasina served as the Data Coordinator for Charles County, Obama for America (OFA) in 2012, while volunteering for the Charles County Democratic Central Committee. Thomasina was elected to the Charles County Democratic Central Committee in 2014, currently serving as the Vice Chairman. She is married and lives in White Plains, MD with her husband. She has two daughters, and two granddaughters.
